Job summary

SentiLink builds models that financial institutions rely on to catch fraud in real time. This manager role owns the governance function end to end and leads a small team of data scientists and governance professionals, with hands-on capability as needed to move work forward.

You will shape strategy, supervise validation reports, and maintain strong customer and regulator-facing relationships while growing the governance program.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in model risk management, validation, or governance, with team-building experience.
• 4+ years in people management, scaling governance teams.
• Deep knowledge of model governance for financial institutions and regulatory standards.
• Ability to read models, interrogate methodology, and discuss with data scientists.
• Strong Python and SQL skills; comfortable with governance deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead, grow, and develop a team of 3+, with scalable growth.
• Own fundamentals: performance monitoring, drift monitoring, governance docs, validation, inventory and change management.
• Set strategy for the function; decide what to automate and standardize.
• Manage governance relationships across Data Science, Engineering, Partner Success, and Sales.
• Directly engage customers; support banks/fintechs with governance needs.
• Guide adoption while meeting governance standards and unblock deployments.
• Prepare validation reports and governance docs for leadership, customers, auditors, regulators.
• Track findings, remediations, and roadmap; balance strategic work with customer demands.
• Contribute hands-on when needed and mentor the team.
