Job summary

SentiLink is hiring a Manager of Model Risk and Governance to own the function end to end. You will lead a team of 3+ data scientists and governance professionals, set long-term strategy, and ensure strong governance across regulators and customers.

This remote, US-based role focuses on building governance, validation, and collaboration with stakeholders while guiding the team through growth and rising demands.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in model risk management, validation, or governance.
• 4+ years of people management building governance teams.
• Deep knowledge of model governance for financial institutions and regulators.
• Reading and challenging model methodologies; experience with Python and SQL.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale a governance team with strategic direction.
• Own governance strategy, automation, and standardization efforts.
• Manage relationships with Data Science, Engineering, and Sales.
• Interact with banks/fintechs to advance deployments.
• Prepare validation reports and governance docs for leadership and regulators.
• Balance regulatory demands with delivery speed; mentor the team.
• Hands-on work when needed to move initiatives forward.
