Job summary

SentiLink Corp is seeking a remote Lead Governance Manager in the US to own end-to-end model risk governance for financial institutions. You will lead a team of 3+ data scientists and governance professionals, setting long-term strategy and ensuring governance excellence while remaining hands-on when the work calls for it.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in model risk management or governance, with scaling experience.
• 4+ years of people management in governance teams.
• Deep regulatory knowledge: SR 11-7, SR 26-2, OCC guidance.
• Technical depth: read the model, assess methodology, and discuss with data scientists.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; legal to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Lead, grow, and develop a team of 3+, with room to scale as the business grows.
• Own governance-related fundamentals: monitoring, drift checks, fair lending, documentation, validation, and change management.
• Set strategy for the function: what to automate, standardize, and where to exceed industry norms.
• Manage relationships across Data Science, Engineering, Partner Success, and Sales.
• Direct customer relationships: lead calls with banks/fintechs, anticipate needs, unblock deals.
• Prepare validation reports, governance docs, and performance summaries for leadership, customers, auditors, and regulators.
• Track governance findings and drive remediation within the team's roadmap.
• Do hands-on work when needed to move projects forward or mentor the team.
