Job summary

SentiLink Corp in the United States is seeking a Senior Manager of Model Governance to lead a team of data scientists and governance professionals. You will set the long-term strategy and own governance across validation, documentation, and regulatory relationships.

This remote, US-based role demands deep technical depth, leadership, and the ability to mentor the team while delivering results at pace.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in model risk management, validation, governance, or quantitative risk.
• 4+ years of people management experience building or scaling governance teams.
• Deep knowledge of model governance for financial institutions and regulatory landscape.
• Strong reading of models, ability to interrogate methodologies and discuss with data scientists.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead, grow, and develop a team of 3+ data scientists and governance professionals.
• Set the strategy for the function and decide what to automate and standardize.
• Own governance relationships across Data Science, Engineering, Partner Success, and Sales.
• Manage customer relationships with model risk teams at banks and fintechs.
• Prepare validation reports and governance documentation for leadership, customers, auditors, and regulators.
• Guide customers on adoption while meeting governance standards and unblock deployments.
• Balance strategic work with regulatory demands and manage the team's roadmap.
• Do hands-on work when required to move initiatives forward.
