Job summary

SentiLink is seeking a Manager of Model Risk and Governance to own the end-to-end function. You will lead a team of data scientists and governance professionals, set long-term strategy, and be accountable for governance excellence, both strategically and day-to-day.

This remote, US-based role requires deep model governance expertise, regulatory knowledge, and hands-on leadership to drive the company’s growth in a fast-moving fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in model risk management, model validation, model governance, or quantitative risk.
• 4+ years of people management experience in governance teams.
• Deep knowledge of model governance for financial institutions and regulatory landscape.
• Strong technical depth with ability to read models and discuss methodologies; proficient in Python and SQL.
• Excellent written/verbal communication and ability to translate findings for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead, grow, and develop a team of 3+, with room to scale as the business grows.
• Own governance-related activities: monitoring, drift assessment, fair lending, governance docs, validation, model inventory, change management.
• Set strategy for the function and decide what to automate and standardize.
• Manage relationships with Data Science, Engineering, Partner Success, and Sales.
• Maintain customer relationships; participate in calls with banks and fintechs to support deployments.
