Job summary

SentiLink is hiring a Manager of Model Risk and Governance to own this function end to end. You’ll lead a team of 3+ data scientists and governance professionals, set the long-term strategy, and be accountable for what great model governance looks like across the company.

This is a remote, US-based role. You will guide customers on governance standards, partner with Data Science, Engineering, and Compliance, directly own critical governance deliverables and relationships, and help scale risk

Qualifications

• 8+ years in model risk management, model validation, governance, or quantitative risk.
• 4+ years of people management experience in governance or risk teams.
• Deep knowledge of model governance for financial institutions and regulatory landscape.
• Ability to read models, critique methodologies, and discuss with data scientists.

Responsibilities

• Lead, grow, and develop a team of 3+ data scientists and governance professionals.
• Define strategy for governance and ensure regulatory alignment.
• Own governance deliverables, reports, and validation docs for regulators and customers.
• Manage cross-functional relationships across Data Science, Engineering, Partner Success, and Sales.
• Prepare remediation tracking and roadmap for governance as the company scales.
