Job summary

SentiLink in the United States is seeking a Manager of Model Governance to own the function end to end and lead a team of 3+ data scientists and governance professionals. You will set the long-term strategy and ensure governance standards for regulators, auditors, and customers.

This remote, US-based role requires deep regulatory knowledge, 8+ years in model risk or governance, 4+ years of people management, and strong technical depth in Python, SQL, and AWS.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in model risk management, model validation, model governance, or quantitative risk.
• 4+ years of people management experience building or scaling governance teams.
• Deep knowledge of model governance for financial institutions and regulatory landscape.
• Working knowledge of Python and proficiency in SQL; able to read and interrogate models.
• Strong bias for action, balancing governance rigor with speed and good judgment.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; strong communication skills and ability to convey findings.

Responsibilities

• Lead, grow, and develop a team of 3+ data scientists and governance professionals.
• Set the strategy for the function and define what to automate and standardize.
• Own governance relationships across Data Science, Engineering, Partner Success, and Sales.
• Manage customer relationships and assist with model risk discussions with banks/fintechs.
• Prepare validation reports, governance docs, and performance summaries for leadership, customers, auditors, and regulators.
• Track governance findings through remediation and manage roadmap with regulatory considerations.
• Contribute hands-on when needed to move initiatives forward and mentor the team.
