Job summary

SentiLink builds models that financial institutions rely on to catch fraud in real time. We’re hiring a Manager of Model Risk and Governance to own this function end to end and lead a team of 3+ data scientists and governance professionals, setting long‑term strategy and accountability for governance details.

This is a lead‑from‑the‑front role, with hands‑on work when needed, and the team will grow as the company expands, guiding governance across customers and regulators in the US.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in model risk management or governance.
• 4+ years of people management experience building teams.
• Knowledge of SR 11-7, SR 26-2, OCC guidance and regulatory landscape.
• Technical depth: read models, critique methodologies; Python and SQL knowledge.
• Strong analytical and written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead, grow, and develop a team of 3+ data scientists and governance professionals.
• Set strategy for the function; decide what to automate and standardize.
• Own governance-related relationships across Data Science, Engineering, Partner Success, and Sales.
• Lead customer relationships with banks and fintechs; unblock deployments.
• Prepare validation reports and governance docs for leadership, auditors, and regulators.
• Track governance findings and manage roadmap balancing regulatory demands.
• Do the work hands-on when needed to move things forward.
