Job summary

SentiLink is hiring a Manager to own model governance end to end. You will lead 3+ data scientists and governance professionals, set long-term strategy, and be accountable for governance excellence with customers, regulators, and auditors.

This remote, US-based role blends hands-on work with leadership as the team grows. You will guide governance, validation, and change management, communicating complex findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in model risk management, validation, governance, or quantitative risk.
• 4+ years in people management building or scaling governance teams.
• Deep knowledge of model governance for financial institutions and regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to read models, interrogate methodologies, and discuss with data scientists.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 3+ data scientists and governance professionals.
• Set long-term strategy and governance standards for the function.
• Own relationships across Data Science, Engineering, Partner Success, and Sales.
• Interact with banks and fintechs, guiding adoption while meeting governance standards.
• Prepare validation reports and governance docs for leadership, customers, auditors, and regulators.
