Job summary

Avangrid Power, LLC is seeking a Senior Manager - Regional Organic Growth to define and implement regional growth plans across multiple markets, including Arizona, Denver, Portland, and other western states. You will lead strategy development with senior leadership to meet FID and COD goals and manage regional development teams.

In this role you will build and maintain a robust greenfield pipeline, coordinate with policy, origination, and engineering teams, and ensure budgets and schedules align

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Define growth plan and priority regions, needed pipeline (MW, technology, BESS, etc.), required budget, regional contribution to goals.
• Lead and facilitate in a team environment the development of renewable energy projects and markets through coordination of development, policy, origination, market rules, permitting, transmission, meteorology, engineering, construction.
• Develop regional strategic plans and budgets.
• Build a strong greenfield project pipeline to meet current and future business plans.
• Lead, manage, and develop multi-person project management and development teams.
• Coordinate with regional origination teams to implement sales and market development strategy.
• Identify challenged projects and those ripe for termination or limited investment.
• Develop monetization options for competitive and valuable projects.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in engineering or related field
