Job summary

Avangrid is seeking a Senior Manager to lead regional organic growth across multiple U.S. markets.

The role involves defining regional growth plans, building a greenfield renewable pipeline, coordinating with strategy, origination, permitting, and engineering teams, and ensuring budgets align with strategic goals. The position requires leadership of multi-person teams, strong governance, and travel up to 50%+ within the designated region and to headquarters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in the power industry with project development experience in wind and solar.
• 5+ years of experience managing and developing teams and leading multi-project development.
• Ability to travel 50% or more within the region and to corporate HQ.
• Proficiency in Windows-based software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; ArcGIS/Google Earth experience.

Responsibilities

• Define growth plan, identify priority regions, pipeline, budgets, and FTE needs.
• Lead regional development teams to build a robust renewable project pipeline.
• Coordinate with origination, policy, permitting, transmission, and engineering teams.
• Set regional goals, roadmaps to FID, and ensure budget alignment with strategy.
• Oversee monetization options and ensure strategic fit for projects.
