Job summary

AVANGRID POWER, LLC is seeking a Senior Manager for Regional Organic Growth. The role will determine location by business needs across multiple western markets and drive the strategy to meet yearly FID & COD goals.

You will guide regional teams, set roadmaps, manage budgets, and coordinate with policy, origination, and engineering teams to advance greenfield projects. The position emphasizes leadership of a regional development team, strategic planning, and collaboration with senior executives

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in engineering or related field.
8+ years of relevant business experience in the power industry.
8+ years of project development experience in wind and solar with demonstrated work in targeted markets.
5+ years of experience managing and developing teams.
Proficiency in Windows based software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Proficiency in ArcGIS and Google Earth or similar geographic mapping software.
Willingness to travel 50% or more throughout the region

Responsibilities

Define growth plan and priority regions with senior leadership.
Lead development of renewable energy projects across multiple functions.
Develop regional strategic plans and budgets.
Build a strong greenfield project pipeline to meet business plans.
Lead and develop multi-person project management teams.
Coordinate with origination, permitting, interconnection, and engineering teams to execute development strategy.
Manage annual project budgets and align with strategy
Identify and monetize regional market opportunities and investments
