Job summary

AVANGRID POWER, LLC is seeking a Senior Manager - Regional Organic Growth to lead the onshore greenfield renewable pipeline in the US sub-region. The role partners with senior leadership to define growth plans, regional budgets, and priorities, while coordinating origination and policy teams to drive FID and COD goals.

The candidate will manage regional teams, develop markets, and ensure budget adherence, with heavy travel and a focus on strategic ROI and competitiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant business experience in the power industry.
• 8+ years of project development experience in wind and solar development.
• 5+ years of experience managing and developing teams.
• Project Management experience.
• Demonstrable experience and success of leading development and bringing to construction and operations multiple renewable energy projects.
• Demonstrable experience of supporting tax equity closing.
• Thorough understanding of real estate agreements and laws and title and survey requirements for renewable projects.
• Willingness to travel 50% or more throughout designated region and to corporate headquarters.
• Proficiency in Windows based business software applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in ArcGIS and Google Earth or similar geographic mapping software.

Responsibilities

• Define growth plan and priority regions with pipeline and budgets.
• Developing and implementing regional strategic plans and budgets.
• Build a strong greenfield project pipeline to meet current and future business plans.
• Lead, manage, and develop multi-person project management and development teams.
• Coordinate closely with regional head and the regional origination teams to implement sales and market development strategy.
• Manage yearly budget of each project and align with strategy.
• Identify and maintain competitive assessment in each targeted market.
• Support assessment and monetization options for valuable projects.
