Job summary
Avangrid Power, LLC seeks a Senior Manager to lead regional organic growth, shaping and executing growth strategy across multiple markets. You will guide pipelines toward FID/COD goals, directing origination, permitting, and construction operations in your region.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Strategy and Planning, you will manage development teams, set budgets, and collaborate with permitting, interconnection, legal, and investment offices to maximize ROI while ensuring timely delivery
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in the power industry.
- 8+ years in wind/solar development with market experience.
- 5+ years of team leadership and development.
- Willingness to travel 50%+ across designated region and to HQ.
Responsibilities
- Define growth plan, regional priorities, and budgets with senior leadership.
- Lead renewable energy project development and market coordination.
- Develop regional strategic plans and budgets to support ROI.
- Build a strong greenfield project pipeline aligned with company goals.
- Lead multi-person PM and development teams across markets.
- Coordinate with permitting, interconnection, legal, and investment offices.
