Job summary

Amazon in Chicago, IL seeks a Senior Manager to lead a team of Cloud Intelligence (CI) experts aligned to sales teams across the western/central United States. You will guide field-facing specialists, remove adoption barriers for AWS, and shape go-to-market strategies while collaborating with product, marketing and enablement teams.

You will articulate compelling value propositions, train teams, and influence AWS roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer facing resources.
• 7+ years of managing a technical team of solution architects, sales engineers or similar technical roles experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience architecting/operating solutions on cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI etc).

Responsibilities

• Ensure success in building and maintaining solutions to help customers choose AWS from a technical perspective.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community.
• Guide and motivate the development of whitepapers, data sheets, and other high-value customer facing guidance and best practices.
• Build deep relationships with decision makers within customer accounts to enable them to be “Cloud advocates”.
• Share customer feedback to internal product management and engineering teams to help drive the future of AWS.
• Develop and deploy sales motions and programs that leverage AWS Field Sales teams, as well as technology and consulting partner channels.
• Collaborate with Service and Technical teams to create solutions that solve customer problems, including reference architectures, patterns, automation, release plan.
• Collaborate with Marketing to develop and align digital marketing campaigns to drive awareness and demand.
