Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager to lead a team of Cloud Intelligence professionals aligned to sales teams across the western and central United States.

This role blends business and technical leadership to articulate AWS value and drive customer adoption. You will guide field-facing SMEs, remove barriers to adoption, develop whitepapers and guidance, and partner with marketing, enablement, and product teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer facing resources.
• 7+ years of managing a technical team of solution architects, sales engineers or similar technical roles experience.
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, etc.

Responsibilities

• As a key member of the Solutions Architect team, ensure success in building and maintaining solutions and tactics that help customers choose AWS from a technical perspective.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community.
• Guide and motivate the development of whitepapers, data sheets, and other high-value customer facing guidance and best practices.
• Build deep relationships with decision makers within customer accounts to enable them to be “Cloud advocates”
• Share customer feedback to internal product management and engineering teams to help drive the future of AWS
• Develop and deploy sales motions and programs that leverage AWS Field Sales teams, as well as technology and consulting partner channels.
• Collaborate with the Service and Technical teams to create solutions that solve customer problems, including reference architectures, patterns, automation, release plan, etc.
