Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager to lead a team of Cloud Intelligence professionals aligned with AWS sales across the western/central United States. You will guide SMEs, drive strategic initiatives, and shape go-to-market programs with cross-functional teams.

You will craft differentiating value propositions, mentor architects, and collaborate with sales, product, and marketing to accelerate customer success and adoption of AWS cloud services.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer facing resources or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing a technical team of solution architects, sales engineers or similar roles.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience architecting/operating solutions on major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of CI/SME specialists aligned to AWS sales teams across the western/central United States.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge among the AWS solutions architect community.
• Develop whitepapers, data sheets, and other customer-facing guidance.
• Build relationships with decision makers to enable them as Cloud advocates.
• Provide feedback to product management and engineering for roadmaps.
• Develop sales motions and programs utilizing AWS Field Sales and partner channels.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Service, and Technical teams on campaigns and solutions.
• Convey compelling value propositions to executives and customers.
• Coach and train new Solutions Architects and organize technical workshops.
