Job summary

Amazon's Sales Cycle Acceleration team, including Cloud Intelligence, is seeking a Senior Manager to lead a group of CI experts aligned to sales teams across the western/central United States. You will guide field-facing SMEs, remove barriers to adoption of AWS, and influence go-to-market strategies while partnering with marketing, enablement, and product teams.

The role blends business and technical acumen, requires building executive-level relationships, and delivering compelling value

Qualifications

• 7+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer facing resources.
• 7+ years of managing a technical team of solution architects, sales engineers or similar technical roles experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.

Responsibilities

• As a key member of the Solutions Architect team, ensure success in building and maintaining solutions and tactics that help customers choose AWS from a technical perspective.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community
• Guide and motivate the development of whitepapers, data sheets, and other high-value customer facing guidance and best practices
• Build deep relationships with decision makers within customer accounts to enable them to be “Cloud advocates”
• Share customer feedback to internal product management and engineering teams to help drive the future of AWS
• Develop and deploy sales motions and programs that leverage AWS Field Sales teams, as well as technology and consulting partner channels.
• Collaborate with the Service and Technical teams to create solutions that solve customer problems, including reference architectures, patterns, automation, release plan, etc.
• Collaborate with Marketing to develop and align digital marketing campaigns to drive awareness and demand.
