Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager to lead a team of Cloud Intelligence experts aligned to AWS field sales teams across the western and central United States.

You will drive strategy, enablement, and communications to executives, customers, and cross-functional teams, removing barriers to adoption and shaping go-to-market impact. You will manage a team of field-facing SMEs, evangelize differentiation concepts, and collaborate with product, marketing, and services to deliver

Qualifications

• 7+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer facing resources or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of managing a technical team of solution architects, sales engineers or similar technical roles experience.
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience architecting/operating cloud solutions on AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, or other providers

Responsibilities

• As a key member of the Solutions Architect team, ensure success in building and maintaining solutions and tactics that help customers choose AWS from a technical perspective.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community
• Guide and motivate the development of whitepapers and other high-value customer facing guidance and best practices
• Build deep relationships with decision makers within customer accounts to enable them to be 'Cloud advocates'
• Share customer feedback to internal product management and engineering teams to help drive the future of AWS
• Develop and deploy sales motions and programs that leverage AWS Field Sales teams and partner channels
• Collaborate with Marketing to develop and align digital marketing campaigns to drive awareness and demand
• Hire, on-board, train, and develop new Solutions Architects from internal and external sources
