Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 9–12+ years of experience in data, information, solution, or platform architecture.
• Ownership of production AI, search, or knowledge systems in enterprise settings.
• Delivery of shared knowledge, search, graph, or grounded‑AI capability across sources.
• Fluency with semantic, graph, or retrieval technologies; strong SQL; general‑purpose language.

Responsibilities

• Set the target architecture, roadmap, and decision principles for knowledge, retrieval, and grounding capabilities used by AI products and agents.
• Design federated organizational memory with durable interfaces and lifecycle clarity.
• Translate business questions with domain experts to define concepts, relationships, and boundaries for AI systems.
• Engineer reusable ingestion patterns preserving authority, lineage, freshness, licensing, and uncertainty.
• Build retrieval combining search, semantic, graph, and structured methods with trade‑offs visible (relevance, latency, cost, explainability).
• Make evidence inspectable with citations, provenance, quality signals, and evaluation hooks.
• Embed policy with security, privacy, retention, and deletion requirements in the retrieval path.
• Prove the architecture through lighthouse implementations from prototype to production to show a credible scale path.
• Operate and improve by defining service objectives, observability, and quality measures for dependable knowledge capabilities.
• Build shared capability by creating reference components, onboarding practices, and mentoring engineers and stewards.
