Job summary

Accenture is seeking a senior Malware Reverse Engineer to join its security analytics team in the United States. You will lead advanced static and dynamic analysis, reverse engineer complex samples, and uncover behaviors, infrastructure, and attacker tradecraft.

You will translate findings into high‑fidelity detections for SOC and incident response, mentor senior analysts, and ensure technical quality before dissemination across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in malware reverse engineering or related cyber analysis roles.
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on static and dynamic malware analysis on Windows and Linux.
• Minimum 6 years using advanced reverse engineering tools (IDA Pro, Ghidra) and 3 years with debugging tools like x64dbg.
• Minimum 5 years analyzing packed/obfuscated malware and bypassing anti-analysis techniques.
• Minimum 4 years working with low-level code (assembly) and 5 years developing tooling in C/C++ or Python.

Responsibilities

• Perform static and dynamic malware analysis on Windows and Linux.
• Reverse engineer complex samples, unpacking behavior and infrastructure.
• Translate findings into high-fidelity detections for SOC use cases.
• Support incident response during critical events and mentor analysts.
• Provide technical quality control over analytic deliverables.
