Job summary

Accenture is seeking a deeply technical Malware Reverse Engineer to lead malware analysis within its Security practice. You will reverse engineer complex samples, uncover behavior and infrastructure, and translate findings into actionable detections.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in malware reverse engineering, exploit analysis, vulnerability research, or closely related cyber technical analysis roles.
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience with static and dynamic malware analysis on Windows and Linux.
• Minimum 6 years of experience using advanced reverse engineering tools (IDA Pro, Ghidra) and 3 years with debugging/binary analysis tooling.
• Minimum 5 years analyzing packed/obfuscated malware and bypassing anti-analysis techniques.
• Minimum 4 years in low-level code (assembly) and 5 years developing/modifying tooling (C/C++, Python) for malware analysis.
• Minimum 4 years extracting C2 protocols and infrastructure artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced static and dynamic analysis of malware across Windows and Linux environments.
• Reverse engineer complex and obfuscated binaries, including packed or anti-analysis samples.
• Translate reverse engineering findings into high-fidelity detection logic for SOC use cases.
• Support incident response during critical events and provide technical quality control over analyses.
