Job summary

Accenture is seeking a senior Malware Reverse Engineer to lead technical malware analysis and operational intelligence within the Security practice. You will reverse engineer complex samples, unpack behavior and infrastructure, and translate findings into actionable detections while supporting incident response and team mentorship.

You will act as a senior technical reviewer, contribute to rapid triage, and guide analysts in high‑stakes environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in malware reverse engineering, exploit analysis, vulnerability research, or closely related cyber technical analysis roles.
• Minimum 8 years of hands‑on experience static and dynamic malware analysis across Windows and Linux.
• Minimum 6 years of experience using advanced reverse engineering tools (IDA Pro, Ghidra) and 3 years with debugging tools (x64dbg, Binary Ninja).
• Minimum 5 years of experience analyzing packed, obfuscated, or anti‑analysis‑protected malware.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with low‑level code, assembly, and 5 years in C/C++ or Python tooling for malware analysis.
• Minimum 4 years of experience reconstructing C2 protocols and infrastructure artifacts.
• Minimum 4 years of experience tracking malware behaviors and TTPs of advanced threat actors.
• Minimum 4 years developing detection content (YARA, Snort, Sigma) for SOC or detection teams.
• Minimum 3 years reproducing or assessing publicly disclosed vulnerabilities.
• Minimum 3 years as technical quality reviewer for malware analysis outputs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced static and dynamic analysis of malware across Windows and Linux.
• Reverse engineer complex, obfuscated binaries; unpack samples.
• Translate findings into high‑fidelity detection logic for SOC use cases.
• Support incident response during critical events and provide QA over analyses.
• Mentor senior analysts and raise engineering depth of the team.
• Communicate risk‑based findings concisely to leadership.
