Job summary

Momentum Engineering, Inc. seeks a Reverse Engineer to perform advanced malicious binary analysis, malware detection, signature development, networking analysis, and cyber risk assessment.

The role requires strong reverse-engineering skills and experience identifying and mitigating sophisticated cyber threats. Key responsibilities include analyzing malicious binaries, identifying IOCs/APT activity, developing YARA and SNORT signatures, and providing mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph.
• Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, Bachelor’s with 8 years, Associate with 10 years of in-depth relevant experience that is clearly related to the position.
• Proficiency analyzing malicious binaries.
• Strong assembly-code analysis skills.
• IOC and APT familiarity and analysis experience.
• Experience with malware detection.
• Experience creating YARA and SNORT signatures.
• Strong computer networking experience.
• Reverse-engineering TTP experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze malicious binaries and assembly code.
• Identify Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) and Advanced Persistent Threat activity.
• Perform malware detection and technical threat analysis.
• Develop YARA and SNORT signatures.
• Identify technical vulnerabilities and areas of cyber risk.
• Develop mitigation recommendations and defensive strategies.
• Analyze network-based threats and malicious behavior.
• Apply reverse-engineering tactics, techniques, and procedures.
• Support customer cyber mission requirements.
