Job summary

Accenture is seeking a senior Malware Reverse Engineer to lead complex reverse engineering efforts across Windows and Linux, unpacking sophisticated samples to reveal behavior and infrastructure. You will translate findings into detections and support incident response during critical events.

You will also mentor senior analysts, ensure technical rigor in analyses, and contribute to the broader malware analysis program while working across various environments and threat campaigns.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years in malware reverse engineering, exploit analysis, or related cyber technical analysis roles.
• 8+ years static/dynamic malware analysis on Windows and Linux.
• Experience with IDA Pro, Ghidra, and at least two debugging/binary analysis tools.
• 4+ years reversing obfuscated or anti-analysis-protected malware; deconstructing packers and bypassing anti-debugging techniques.
• 4+ years working with low-level code (assembly) and 5+ years developing tools in C/C++ and/or Python.
• 4+ years reconstructing C2 protocols and malware infrastructure artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced static and dynamic analysis of malware across Windows and Linux.
• Reverse engineer complex and obfuscated binaries, including packed or anti-analysis samples.
• Translate reverse engineering findings into high-fidelity detection logic for SOC use cases.
• Support incident response and ransomware response with rapid and deeper forensic analysis.
• Provide technical mentorship to senior analysts and review malware analysis outputs.
