Job summary

Accenture is seeking an experienced Malware Reverse Engineer to lead reverse engineering efforts across Windows and Linux, unpacking sophisticated samples to uncover behavior and infrastructure.

You will translate findings into detections, support incident response, and provide technical quality control while mentoring the broader malware analysis team. Travel may be required depending on client needs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional malware reverse engineering or related cyber analysis roles.
• 8+ years static and dynamic malware analysis on Windows and Linux.
• 5+ years in C/C++ and/or Python tooling for malware analysis.
• 3+ years evaluating publicly disclosed vulnerabilities in active threat actor operations.

Responsibilities

• Reverse engineer complex malware; unpack samples to reveal behavior and tradecraft.
• Translate findings into high-fidelity detections for SOC/detection engineering.
• Support incident response and ransomware engagements with rapid triage and forensics.
• Mentor senior analysts and uphold rigorous technical reviews of outputs.
