Job summary

Mill Creek Residential in Washington, DC area is seeking a Service Technician Level II to maintain the appearance and condition of the community, handle make-ready tasks, respond to service requests, and perform repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and more.

The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and adherence to federal, state, and local laws while delivering high-quality work and reliable maintenance support for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of maintenance experience.
• Multi-family maintenance experience helpful.
• HVAC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing and performing general maintenance duties and repairs.
• Thoroughly inspect vacated apartments and document renovations.
• Restore apartments to make-ready status after inspections.
• Respond to repairs including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, and safety systems.
• Inspect grounds and buildings for safety and maintenance needs.
• Address resident requests promptly with good customer service.
• Promote safe work practices on-site and ensure compliance with laws.
