Job summary

Mill Creek Residential seeks a Service Technician Level II to maintain the physical condition and appearance of the community, performing repairs and make-ready tasks for vacated units. You will inspect spaces, document renovations, and ensure safety and quality in all work.

The role requires basic maintenance skills, familiarity with HVAC/electrical/plumbing systems, and strong customer service when addressing resident requests. Compliance with safety standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Reads, writes and speaks English; understands work instructions and paperwork.
• Performs basic arithmetic and takes measurements.
• General computer skills for property management software.
• Operates maintenance tools and equipment safely.
• Familiar with using and interpreting safety labels.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing and performing general duties, preventative maintenance, and repairs consistent with Mill Creek Residential operating and safety standards
• Thoroughly inspect vacated apartments, document renovations, and re-inspect for quality
• Routinely perform duties to restore apartments to make ready status
• Respond to problems with repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, and related systems
• Routinely inspect community grounds and buildings to ensure safety and identify projects
• Respond to resident requests with timely, excellent customer service
• Promote safe work practices among on-site team
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State and local laws including Fair Housing
• Address and complete other duties as assigned
