Job summary

Travelers is seeking a senior claims professional to investigate, evaluate, reserve, negotiate and resolve assigned serious and complex Specialty claims under supervision.

You will provide quality claim handling throughout the life cycle, ensuring compliance with standards and state regulations; act as a technical resource to other claim professionals and partners; and manage coverage analysis, litigation planning, and liaison with insureds, policyholders, and outside experts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• 10+ years claim handling experience with 5-7 years on serious injury and complex liability claims.
• Advanced knowledge of coverage, liability, damages analysis and litigation processes.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, reserve, negotiate and resolve assigned serious and complex Specialty claims.
