Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company in Morristown, NJ seeks a senior claims professional to investigate, evaluate, reserve, and resolve assigned severe and complex Specialty claims. You will provide expert technical guidance, ensure quality standards, and support stakeholders throughout the life cycle of the claim.

Role requires extensive bodily injury/complex liability experience, exceptional negotiation skills, and advanced understanding of litigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 10+ years claim handling experience with 5-7 years handling serious injury and complex liability claims.
• Excellent negotiation and customer service skills.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills; strong litigation understanding.

Responsibilities

• Directly handle assigned severe claims.
• Provide quality customer service and ensure file quality and timely coverage analyses.
• Negotiate disposition of claims with insureds or claimants.
• Develop litigation plans with counsel and manage related expenses.
• Coordinate with internal/external resources for investigation and resolution.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and maintain claim files.
