Job summary

This role provides expert technical guidance and training to other professionals, with a focus on quality customer service and cost-effective resolution.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred or equivalent business experience.
• 5-10 years experience handling serious injury and complex liability claims preferred.
• Proficiency in oral and written communications.

Responsibilities

• Handle the company's most severe and complex claims with coverage of $2 million or greater.
• Provide quality customer service and timely coverage analysis.
• Investigate claims through contacts with insureds, claimants, and experts to determine liability and damages.
• Interview witnesses and stakeholders; obtain statements as needed.
• Direct resources for evaluation, such as subrogation, risk control, and experts.
• Maintain diary management and monitor liability and damages exposure.
• Establish reserves and manage indemnity and expense.
• Mentor and coach less experienced professionals.
