Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technical Support Coordinator IV to own Tier 2 roadside cases from start to finish.

You will decide between internal technician dispatch or third-party work, resolving equipment and software issues to improve uptime and customer experience. The role requires strong maintenance knowledge, diagnostic skills, and ability to communicate with customers in breakdown situations.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• Five+ years in Ryder shop operations preferred.
• Two+ years customer service exposure preferred.
• Four+ years transportation maintenance required.
• Two+ years technical diagnostic experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, troubleshoot, and remedy vehicle roadside breakdowns with full autonomy.
• Assist with follow ups, escalations, and service provider interactions.
• Provide updated technical knowledge to the maintenance team.
• Mentor Tier 1 call center team and participate in training.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
