Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technical Support Coordinator IV to own Tier 2 emergency roadside cases from start to finish. You will decide whether to dispatch internal technicians or third-party services to resolve vehicle issues and improve uptime.

You will mentor the Tier 1 team, provide status updates, and stay current on OEM information and diagnostic tools to support rapid, safe roadside resolutions in high-pressure breakdown situations.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED required.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• Minimum 4 years in Ryder shop environment.
• 2+ years in Ryder operations customer service.
• 4+ years in transportation maintenance.
• 2+ years in diagnostic and customer resolution for Ryder fleet.

Responsibilities

• Assess and remedy vehicle roadside breakdowns with autonomy.
• Coordinate with RCRC and leadership; provide summaries to improve uptime.
• Provide updated technical knowledge and training materials.
• Mentor Tier 1 call center team; share status updates.
