Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technical Support Coordinator IV to own Tier 2 emergency roadside cases from start to finish.

You will decide whether to deploy an internal technician or third party, address mechanical and electrical issues, and work with customers in breakdown situations to minimize downtime. Role requires strong maintenance knowledge, problem solving, and the ability to communicate diagnostic results clearly.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED required.
• Vocational or Technical Certification preferred - ASE certifications.

Responsibilities

• Resolve Tier 2 emergency roadside cases from start to finish with full autonomy.
• Coordinate with RCRC and service providers to improve uptime and customer experience.
• Provide updated technical knowledge and training to the maintenance team.
• Mentor Tier 1 call center staff and participate in periodic trainings.
