Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technical Support Coordinator IV to own Tier 2 emergency roadside cases from start to finish.

You will determine whether to dispatch internal technicians or third parties and resolve complex maintenance issues on Ryder fleet vehicles with strong technical acumen. The role requires handling breakdowns via telephonic communication, mentoring Tier 1 staff, and providing critical updates while ensuring quick uptime and high customer

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED required or equivalent.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• Two+ years in Ryder operations customer service exposure desired.
• Four+ years in transportation maintenance required.

Responsibilities

• Own Tier 2 emergency roadside cases from start to finish.
• Decide on internal technician call-out vs. third-party work.
• Resolve technical issues on Ryder lease or contract vehicles.
• Provide status updates and training to Tier 1 team.
