Job summary

Greystar is seeking a maintenance technician to service the community and ensure buildings, grounds, and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

The role covers preventative maintenance, make-ready tasks for leasing, and coordination with vendors while maintaining cost controls and safety compliance. Candidates should have HVAC certification and a valid driver’s license, with strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Own hand tools and safe use of tools and equipment.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Attend to work orders from residents and diagnose defects.
• Oversee and complete the make-ready process for vacants.
• Establish standards for grounds and building appearance to Greystar quality.
• Periodically inspect work by staff and contractors for quality.
• Maintain inventory and coordinate supplies with the Community Manager.
• Perform monthly preventive maintenance and assist in budgeting.
