Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support on-site property upkeep across the community. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and help prepare vacants for leasing while ensuring safety and quality standards.

You will also inspect work by others, manage inventory, and assist with budget planning. A valid driver’s license and EPA Type I/II or Universal certifications are preferred for HVAC tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and related training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or building maintenance.
• Own hand tools unless prohibited by state law; safe use of tools and equipment.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with residents and team.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests and perform maintenance in accordance with policies and safety standards.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of grounds, exteriors, interiors, and common areas to Greystar standards.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors; implement corrective actions when needed.
• Assist in budgeting and cost-control efforts; manage inventory of parts and supplies.
