Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a maintenance technician to oversee and perform technical maintenance across community buildings, grounds, and amenities. You will diagnose issues, complete work orders, and ensure safety and quality in line with Greystar standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance, or related trade.
• Incumbents must provide own hand tools and must be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use of hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to represent company management.
• Proficiency in customer service and interpersonal communication to interact with residents and team members.
• Math skills to handle financial, administrative, and legal documents.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose the source or cause of defects and perform repairs per policies and codes.
• Oversee the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections and coordinating vendors.
• Set standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds and common areas.
• Inspect work for effectiveness and ensure quality standards in collaboration with contractors and service providers.
• Assist Community Manager with budgeting for repair, maintenance, and capital projects.
• Conduct safety meetings and stay updated on OSHA and safety-related regulations.
