Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the community’s buildings and grounds meet Greystar standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality. Responsibilities include diagnosing resident requests, completing repairs, and leading make-ready tasks for new move-ins.

The role requires HVAC, safety, and equipment handling knowledge, with strong customer service and communication skills to interact with residents and teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Own hand tools unless prohibited by State law; safe use of tools and equipment.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively for internal and resident interactions.
• Proficiency with computers and property management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair building defects following policies, safety standards, and codes.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Set cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds, exteriors, interiors, and common areas.
• Inspect work of team members and contractors; develop corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and arrange supplies within budget.
