Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the community’s buildings, grounds, and amenities. You will diagnose issues, perform routine repairs, and support make-ready tasks for leasing.

This role requires hands-on tool usage, a high school diploma, and strong customer service. You’ll work Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with on-call rotations and must be comfortable following safety policies and Greystar standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in property maintenance or related trades.
• Own hand tools and safe-use knowledge of tools and equipment.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.
• Proficiency in customer service and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Handle work orders from residents and diagnose defects to perform repairs.
• Complete make-ready tasks for vacant units and coordinate vendors as needed.
• Develop and maintain standards for grounds, exteriors, and common areas to Greystar quality.
• Periodically inspect work by team members and contractors for quality and safety.
• Support safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance and MSDS accessibility.
