Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure buildings, grounds, and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and function. You will handle work orders, oversee make-ready tasks, and coordinate vendors to maintain a high-quality community.

The role requires hands-on maintenance experience, tools proficiency, and strong customer service skills, with on-call rotation and a Monday–Friday schedule in a residential setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Strong customer service and clear communication.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects following policies and safety standards.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant homes and coordinate vendors.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds and interiors.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors for quality.
• Maintain inventory and assist budget planning for repairs.
