Cognizant is seeking a Senior Mainframe Developer to design, enhance, and support healthcare claims applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable mainframe solutions.

The role is remote across the United States, with potential in-person interviews as needed. Applicants should have 8+ years in mainframe development and strong knowledge of COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, and MQ.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of hands-on mainframe development experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS and MQ.
• Experience with healthcare claims adjudication processes and workflows.
• Knowledge of code migration, environment promotion, deployment validation and backout procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain mainframe claims applications.
• Translate requirements into scalable, compliant mainframe solutions for claims adjudication.
• Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and conduct code reviews.
• Provide technical leadership to offshore teams and coordinate onsite/offshore delivery.
