Job summary

Travere Therapeutics, based in San Diego, seeks an Associate Director to lead the Microsoft 365 collaboration platform, including SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business. This leader manages architecture, governance, and modernization while balancing vendor oversight and hands-on engineering.

The role requires 8+ years in enterprise collaboration with a strong technical foundation, and travel up to 10% domestically and internationally. Onsite presence in San Diego is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT or related field.
• 8+ years in enterprise collaboration or Microsoft 365 platforms.
• Experience leading technical and hands-on engineering for Microsoft 365 collaboration platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead long-term strategy, architecture, roadmap, and operating model for SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, intranet, and search.
• Provide strategic and technical leadership for Teams as a collaboration platform and external collaboration governance.
• Serve as senior technical practitioner, performing hands-on configuration, engineering, and advanced troubleshooting.
• Own intranet and enterprise search product direction, backlogs, templates, taxonomy, and publishing standards.
• Establish governance, identity, access, retention, and information protection; support 21 CFR Part 11 compliance where applicable.
• Lead migrations and modernization, coordinating from discovery to adoption and value realization.
• Partner with leaders to translate needs into recommendations and coordinate training and owners network.
• Direct MSP and vendor delivery, including SOWs, backlog, SLAs, change control, and knowledge transfer.
