Job summary

FedEx Freight in Charlotte, NC is seeking a seasoned finance and pricing professional to maintain customer relationships, analyze proposals, and guide strategic account decisions. You will develop business plans and provide ongoing support to leadership while collaborating across functions.

The role emphasizes dynamic pricing, bid management, forecasting, and cross-team coordination to optimize profitability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in finance, accounting, sales or business with seven years of related experience.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact with all management levels and customers.
Pricing experience and related analytic skills preferred.
Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Strong project management and multi-tasking abilities.
Proficiency with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint and financial support systems.

Responsibilities

Effectively manage customer relationships and drive satisfaction through proactive communication.
Negotiate pricing programs and upsell value-added services within LTL.
Manage BID/RFP activity with stakeholders and benchmarks.
Develop and execute dynamic pricing with oversight.
Provide forecasts and long-range plans aligned with financial objectives.
Coordinate with operations and internal partners to deliver premier customer experience.
Lead or participate in special projects driven by business needs.
Mentor lower-level professionals and support leadership.
