Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc is seeking a results-driven finance and account-management professional to strengthen customer relationships while analyzing diverse business proposals.

You will develop business plans, coordinate with operations, lead pricing initiatives, and support leadership with strategic evaluations within an LTL context.

Travel to FedEx Freight locations as needed, including Charlotte, and mentor junior staff as a resource.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, sales or business with 7+ years of related experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with management and customers.
• Extensive pricing experience and related analytic skills preferred.
• Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong project management skills and ability to multitask.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and financial systems.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently or in a team, lead projects with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and strengthen customer relationships with proactive communication.
• Negotiate complex pricing programs and upsell value-added services in LTL.
• Manage BID/RFP activity with stakeholders and benchmarking.
• Develop and execute dynamic pricing with oversight and guidance.
• Provide forecasts and long-range plans aligned with financial objectives.
• Coordinate with operations and internal partners to ensure premier customer experience.
• Collaborate with Sales on Opportunities by providing LTL subject matter expertise.
• Perform market research to develop growth and profitability strategies.
• Monitor network capacity and implement pricing strategies for balance.
