Job summary

FedEx Freight seeks an analytical professional to maintain customer relationships and drive financial analysis of proposals within the LTL space. You will evaluate pricing programs, develop strategic plans, and support leadership with guidance on initiatives.

The role requires collaborating with internal teams, delivering forecasts, and leading special projects while traveling to FedEx Freight locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, sales or business plus seven years of relevant experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact with all management levels and customers.
• Pricing experience and related analytic skills are preferred.
• Advanced critical thinking, problem-solving and project management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and strengthen customer relationships with proactive communication.
• Negotiate complex pricing programs and upsell value-added services in LTL.
• Manage BID/RFP activity with stakeholders and benchmarking.
• Develop and execute dynamic pricing aligning with financial objectives.
• Provide forecasts and long-range plans tied to company goals.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure premier customer experience.
