Job summary

Acadia is seeking a Sales Specialist to drive long-term care territory growth by building relationships with physicians, NP/PA, pharmacist consultants, and nursing facility leadership to identify and maintain patients on therapy. You will promote Acadia products with clinical, disease-state, and reimbursement education, address objections with advanced selling skills, and create quarterly territory plans.

Travel up to 80% is required, with a focus on compliance and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field required.
• 3+ years in healthcare/pharma sales; neuroscience preferred.
• 8+ years for Sr. Sales Specialist; 12+ years for Executive Specialist with complex selling.
• Willingness to travel up to 80%; reside within territory or 30 miles.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with LTC resident care team members (physicians, NP/PA, consultant/dispensing pharmacists, nursing facility leadership/staff).
• Promote Acadia products with compliant clinical, disease state, and reimbursement education.
• Address customer questions/objections using advanced selling skills.
• Use knowledge of customers/markets to create and execute quarterly territory business/action plans.
• Provide guidance on pricing, reimbursement, and LTC profitability parameters; serve as liaison on access questions.
• Collaborate with sales management, teammates, and cross-functional partners.
• Represent Acadia at conferences/training; mentor/train new Sales Specialists.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and LTC regulations.
