Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is hiring for a Concierge position at our Fairfax community. You will be the friendly first contact for residents, families, visitors, and guests, handling front desk operations with warmth and efficiency.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, coordinating transportation and activities, supporting management with admin tasks, and maintaining logs. Requires 6–12 months front desk experience, basic MS Office skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 6-12 months of customer service or front desk experience in a hotel, retirement community, or office setting.
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Patience and willingness to assist residents, visitors, and team members.
• Friendly, assertive, professional, outgoing, multitasked, and organized.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Answer a multi-line telephone and direct calls and inquiries as needed.
• Greet families, residents, guests, and vendors with a smile.
• Maintain outside visitor logs and monitor access to the community.
• Assist residents with scheduling transportation, activities, or appointments.
• Support management with administrative tasks, such as data entry, scheduling, or light clerical work.
• Order office supplies.
• Address resident concerns or questions and elevate issues to management when necessary.
• Complete work order requests.
• Assist with valet service for residents and guests.
