Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking a Director of Business Development for Senior Living to own the largest multi-location deals from first meeting to signed contract. You will close multi-location senior living accounts, expanding across locations and services as groups sign.

This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, focused on strategic, multi-location senior living operators and home care agencies.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of closing $1M+ annually on large, multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Experience selling to senior living groups or multi-location buyers in marketing/agency services.
• Long, consultative sales cycles with multiple decision makers.
• Avoid high-volume, single-location or transactional sales backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Own the full cycle on large deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close (3–12 months).
• Lead deals with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders.
• Drive expansion to additional locations and services after a group signs.
