Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Vice President of Business Development for Senior Living to own large multi-location accounts from first meeting to signed contracts. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, focused on high-value deals across senior living networks.

You will close multi-location deals, managing long consultative sales cycles with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders, expanding services as groups sign on.

Qualifications

• A proven track record of closing $1M+ annual deals in large multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Experience selling to senior living groups or marketing/agency services to similar buyers.
• Long, consultative sales cycles with several decision makers; not suited for high-volume, single-location or transactional sales.

Responsibilities

• Own the full cycle on large deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close, over 3 to 12 months.
• Engage with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders in multi-location groups.
• Drive expansion to additional locations and services once a group signs.
• Collaborate with strategists and leadership to craft compelling proposals for key deals.
